Professional Experience

I qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) and after three years with Financial Training as a tutor embarked on a career with Shell International. Over a twenty three year period this provided hands-on experience in a variety of positions at all levels in financial management, programme delivery, relationship management in a context of international oil and gas projects, governance, joint ventures and project financings.  Recently I left Shell and have consolidated my coach/mentoring experience with an Advanced Diploma (Masters level) with the renowned Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring.  Wide exposure to and understanding of business organisations and especially financings, combined with many years of mentoring experience, means that I bring a wealth of perspectives and practical options to my assignments.

I am married to Jane a doctor, have three children and enjoy photography, scuba diving and messing around with computers.
